Polish Water
Polish Water is the name given to the shallow area which extends
two to three hundred yards out from the lodge.
Inaccessible to bank fishermen unless the level drops
by more than eight feet, Polish water dries out to form a large
"Y" shaped spit where the best fishing can be had off the Eastern
shelf.
For boat fishing, Polish Water offers year-round drift
and anchor fishing expect during June, July and early August when
immense weed growth prohibits use of the area.
