Looking at a lake which has been filled to overflowing since mid-December, it's difficult to recall last year when the level was dropping quite rapidly and sport was patchy.

If there's one thing that stands out abut last season it's that the buzzer really didn't get going at all and as a result the fish stayed mainly on daphnia and were difficult to hit consistently. The only other thing that anyone noticed was that while the fish came into really good condition quite quickly, they didn't seem to grow on during the year as much as in previous years.
